Blue served as the creative lead for this ground‑breaking video project, in partnership with Groove Jones, working directly with Dallas‑based alt‑hip‑hop/experimental collective Cure for Paranoia. The single “No Brainer” became the canvas for a truly immersive music‑video experience that redefines viewer engagement.

From the earliest concept drafts, our creative direction emphasized an environment you didn’t just watch—but entered. Collaborating with the Groove Jones production team, we chose the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera system to capture the band’s performance in stereoscopic VR/180 ° format, designed for platforms like Apple Vision Pro

Blue defined the visual motif: a descent into the psyche, where sound and space intertwine. We envisioned shifting planes of reality, glitch‑symmetry overlays, and live tracking that places the viewer at the center of the collective’s raw artistry. The production’s strategy included immersive spatial audio, 12 K stereoscopic footage, and a design language that adapted seamlessly across VR headsets, web players, and traditional theatrical screens.

The case study hosted on Groove Jones’ site highlights the innovation of this project: “one of the first immersive music videos shot on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive for Apple Vision Pro.”
Discussion threads on platforms like Reddit’s r/VisionPro further underscore its early status as a next‑gen experience:
“The result … is not simply a performance to watch but an experience to step into, where audiences are transported into the heart of the music and surrounded by its atmosphere.”
While no major awards have yet been publicly announced for this specific video, the recognition by Groove Jones on their awards page suggests the project was submitted to industry competitions alongside their other award‑winning work.

The Shoot: Venues & Aesthetic Choices
Gallery DeFi (Downtown Dallas) — A 16,000 sq. ft. immersive art space filled with installations, murals, and mixed-media works from over 40 artists. The gallery’s vibrant visuals complemented the band’s eclectic style, creating layered backdrops that seamlessly aligned with their experimental sound.

Blue, in collaboration with Groove Jones and Cure for Paranoia, proudly unveils the immersive music‑video “No Brainer” shot with Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive and optimized for Apple Vision Pro and spatial platforms. This visionary project brings audiences into the core of the music, blending stereoscopic visuals, spatial audio, and performance in a way rarely seen in the music‑video realm. Blue’s creative leadership guided the concept from initial sketches to final render, making the video a pioneering milestone at the crossover of art, technology, and music.

An Experiment using Apple’s New Spatial Browsing – Immersive Videos Delivered via WebXR
Apple Vision Pro User? Now you can watch the Apple Immersive Video on Safari via Spatial Browsing and WebXR.
Since the best way to watch the video is on the Apple Vision Pro, device owners can now view it as it was intended to be as a full immersive experience. Groove Jones integrated the experience into a specially built Safari web page using new technology introduced by Apple that they call Spatial Browsing. Spatial Browsing is a feature in the Safari app on the Apple Vision Pro that transforms standard web pages into an immersive “spatial experiences.” When you enable this feature, it dynamically rearranges web content in your physical space and enhances the visual elements around you.
Users with an Apple Vision Pro that are running Vision OS26, can click on a link below to view the full immersive experience. For those of you who don’t have an Apple Vision Pro, the page will not load the video, but if you’re curious, this is what Spatial Browsing looks like for AVP users.

AVP users click on this link CURE FOR PARANOIA “NO BRAINER” IMMERSIVE MUSIC VIDEO in Safari .
Step 1: The page will load a web version of the video.
Step 2: After tapping the Play Button on the video thumbnail it will load the Immersive Video.

Step 4: Enjoy the video.
The main functions of Spatial Browsing include:
Hides distractions: Non-essential elements of the webpage are removed, creating a cleaner, more focused reading experience.
Reveals spatial scenes: Images on supported websites, such as articles, are turned into dimensional, spatial scenes that appear to come to life as you scroll.
Leverages generative AI: According to Apple’s visionOS 26 announcement, a generative AI algorithm is used to add lifelike depth to photos and create these spatial scenes.
