Blue Studios partnered with Laundery Design & Doritos to reinvent a classic: Doritos 3D. Tasked with reintroducing the nostalgic snack with a modern twist, we developed a campaign rooted in dimensional energy, bold flavor storytelling, and visually driven crunch appeal—all delivered in bite-sized creative formats optimized for today’s digital-first audience.

From the start, Blue led an iterative creative process—working closely with the Doritos brand team to explore how “3D” could be more than a shape. We asked:
What does 3D mean in culture today?
How can it embody flavor, sound, movement, and joy? We positioned “3D Crunch” not just as a product—but a playful, immersive flavor universe.
Key Strategic Pillars:
Dimensional Design Language: Grid worlds, visual tunnels, dynamic flavor explosions—all crafted to mirror the multi-sensory experience of biting into Doritos 3D.
Nostalgia Meets Modernity: Nods to retro aesthetics (like early CG and space themes) combined with bold, punchy modern animation.
Flavor Twins: Spicy Ranch and Chili Cheese Nacho—developed with similar narrative structure, but individualized character traits, color palettes, and tempo to make each spot pop.
We delivered two 15-second TVC spots—each a high-energy micro-story that placed the snack at the center of a digital flavor vortex.
Assets were tailored for multi-platform rollout, including square, vertical, and wide formats—ensuring optimal engagement across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and CTV.
