Mudbound – 360° Social + OOH Campaign


Blue Studios partnered with BPG and Netflix to launch an expansive 3–4 month premiere campaign around Mudbound. The campaign included character cards, social teasers, trailers, and striking OOH visuals, sustaining engagement long past release.

1. Character Cards

Beautifully crafted posters spotlighting core cast: Mary J. Blige, Carey Mulligan, Jason Clarke, Garrett Hedlund, Jason Mitchell, Jonathan Banks, Rob Morgan


Each image overlaid with a compelling quote, such as:

“When I think of the farm, I think of mud… There was no defeating it. … I dreamed in brown.”

Played on social platforms and featured in OOH panels to underscore character voice and tone


2. Teasers & Trailers

Edited compelling trailers and 15–30 s cut-downs highlighting the emotional depth, setting, and complex relationships of the film

Released strategically via Netflix and social media to maximize awareness and intrigue


3. OOH Posters

Employed on-set photography capturing the film’s rare Southern Gothic atmosphere

Placed visually arresting static designs in high-traffic urban zones to fuel buzz across multiple regions
