Youtube channel Identity In collaboration with Maker Studios, Blue designed and launched the branding and social strategy for Polaris—Maker’s gaming-centric offshoot that later fell under the Disney Digital Network umbrella. Polaris evolved from the original “The Game Station” network in 2013, expanding its focus beyond gameplay into geek culture, encompassing comics, tech, and entertainment.

Our aim was to craft a distinct identity that celebrated both the nostalgia of classic gaming and the dynamism of modern entertainment. We embraced retro-inspired visual cues—pixel textures, 8‑bit aesthetic playfulness, and neon transitions—to resonate with long-time gamers, while delivering sleek brand animations to feel contemporary and polished.
Blue is proud to have partnered with Maker Studios and the Disney Digital Network to realize the visual identity for Polaris, a premier gaming entertainment destination. Merging nostalgic pixel art and contemporary brand animation, our work crafted an immersive visual language that connected deeply with gamers and pop‑culture fans. Featuring dynamic logo reveals, presenter stings, and motion graphics, the campaign celebrated both heritage and innovation—helping Polaris launch with clarity, cohesion, and visual impact.
