BET Experience

For the inaugural BET Experience at L.A. LIVE, we were brought in to design a striking animated identity to amplify the brand’s presence both on-site and across content filmed throughout the event. The challenge was to craft a bold and modern animation that would feel premium and reflective of the cultural pulse BET commands

We designed a stylized animated sequence that introduced the multi-faceted star logo with abstract, prism-like shards flying in and assembling to form the final BET Experience mark. The look was intentionally energetic, colorful, and dynamic, capturing the vibrant spirit of the BET brand and its audience. The final reveal concluded with the full event lockup, prominently featuring the June 28–30, 2013 dates.


The animation was adapted and deployed as:

• A digital OOH banner at L.A. LIVE

• A title bumper used across video content and interviews during the weekend

• A branding asset shared with internal and press production teams for reuse
